Stormy Sunday

Today was the perfect fall day.

Sunny with blue skies and a light breeze in the morning; stormy and windy by late afternoon.

Guess what I did? I sat on my patio in the rain, with my coffee and the indulgence for the week month: pakodas!

Bliss!

Oh and this: Happy Birthday Pel!

LOL@ Anita! Yes, I bet she is! Still LOL... But really, I have to; I think I made enough for 10 years.

Manish: dem taters? An' ketchup? Reel good, an' so?

Thank you to all who have so far far wished me wishes, those who will, and those who wonder why I don't use my own blog for all of this.

Nirmala, great minds! Did we switch our beverages though? I usually drink more of tea and coffee in Chennai?? :-)

Ms. Nastea, Pel and I have already discussed that, thank you very much!

Purnima, see and then there are people who want me to post recipes! Tch! Why bother is what I say!

Pel, if I had feelings I would have been hurt by that. Taters, eggplant and cauliflower. I also had onion in the mix. I was frying pakodas for 2 hours this morning. The ozone from the t-storm overhead helped revive me some.

So it's final then! The party's here! Here's to Pel!

Happy Birthday Pel! :D
This surely is a much better place to wish him than at the neighbors garden (flickr) or at the 'taters bonda party :P

Anita, aren't you lucky!

Priya, bonda? [Thud] Did you hear that? That was all of North India fainting because of what you called their pakodas. Neighbor's garden! You think I should go over to Bee's and wish him there, too? At least the lawns are nicely coiffured and there are lots of pretties blooming everywhere. Or is it blooming pretties? Get it?
