Three Schoolbuses?

The Balanced Rock in Arches National Park, Moab, Utah is said to be the size of three schoolbuses. Bee confirmed that today, too. My family says: Phooey!

I can hold it in my hand!

I can lean on it!

I'm an Indian! I will use it in my puja!

Now go to Bee's and check out some really great pictures of the three schoolbus-size rock that is not only awe-inspiring but is a statement of how Mother Nature Rules.

Bee, :-D

Purnima, that might explain the warm spell we are having! Not one person was interested in taking pictures of me. I'm better off behind the camera than in front of it.

Anjai, kucch coordination nahin. I was going to dive into my photo archives to dig something out to post and invariably that means lots of time spent revisiting my Moab pics. Bee's feed lit up and I just couldn't resist putting my spin on the Balanced Rock. It's the first spot we stop at whenever we are in Arches and it never fails to inspire awe.

Priya, but of course!

cooldeep, that we are but then so are you! ;-)

Mallugirl, I will go back to Moab in a heartbeat. We restrict ourselves to the safe and easy hikes but these folks go all out and climb those rocks!
